A brief report in Science 353(6303):976-7 entitled “A painstaking overhaul for cardiac safety testing” states that CiPA will replace the “hERG-centric” paradigm as new standard by the end of 2017 and lists several approaches to CiPA, citing Gary Gintant of AbbVie, a pioneer of this initiative
