The scientific results of the CiPA3 projects were presented at the Safety Pharmacology Society 2018 Annual Meeting in Washington, DC (September 30 – October 3, 2018) within a poster entitled “Development of a New CiPA-compliant MOA in vitro Assay on Stem Cell-Derived Cardiomyocytes including Automated Data Analysis and Model Parameter Optimization”, authors: Stefan Mann, Juliane Heide, Razvan Airini, Florin Bogdan Epureanu, Alexandru Deftu, Antonia Teona Deftu, Beatrice Mihaela Radu, Thomas Knott, Bogdan Amuzescu, raising a lot of interest.  We also participated with questions and discussions to various sessions of the Meeting, particularly those dedicated to the CiPA initiative: “CiPA Real-Life Implementation” (co-chairs: Derek J. Leishman and Jean-Pierre Valentin), “Cardiac Ion Channels and Translational Pharmacology” (co-chairs: Khuram Chaudhary and Eric I. Rossman), “In Silico Approaches” (co-chairs: Zhihua Li and Gary Mirams). A similar poster entitled “Development of a New CiPA-compliant MOA in vitro Assay on Stem Cell-Derived Cardiomyocytes” was presented at the Ncardia Applications Workshop, Cologne 7-9 November 2018, together with an oral communication entitled “A New CiPA-compliant Cardiac Safety Pharmacology Automated Patch-Clamp Assay”.
